The bar offers a selection of curated, high quality options, especially from craft distilleries, natural wine producers, and small-scale, local-ish breweries. We love a well balanced cocktail.

PRICING

Peak, weekend weddings at Machines with Magnets start at $1,500. We also offer inclusive and micro-wedding packages for a more customized experience.

Available discounts include weekday (Monday-Thursday), off peak (January 1-March 31), low- + no-waste events, and 02860 residents.

TIMES

The rental window is eight hours maximum, including one hour each of setup and breakdown time - you choose your window between 1 and 11 pm. Extra setup time and/or late night (11 pm to 1 am) are optional and additional. Please contact us for custom times outside of these windows.

DECORATIONS

We welcome balloons (air filled only), cut flowers and some floral installations, flameless candles, tea lights or votives in non-flammable containers, wayfinding signage, low impact wall hangings, and tabletop decorations on the patio.
We don’t permit items that present a safety issue, damage the space, that are difficult to clean, or that impact plants and wildlife. Please contact us for particulars.

BEVERAGE POLICIES

All alcohol must be purchased by MWM and supplied by its trained and certified bar staff, per Rhode Island law. Centerpieces and party favors may not contain alcohol.
Outside non-alcoholic beverages are discouraged, may not duplicate existing MWM options, and must be approved in writing ahead of time.

We are happy to customize a beverage package for your event! Please inquire.

CATERINg

You may not want to work with a caterer on our list. That’s okay! We just ask that they are licensed and insured, and that everything is cooked before arrival (unless a mobile kitchen is involved) and held at safe serving temperature. We have refrigeration available for up to two standard, three layer 8-9” cakes. We support and encourage alternative professional catering options, such as food trucks.

CLEANING

Events are pack-in, pack-out, and the space should be left as you found it. One hour breakdown is included in the space fee (excluding rental items, which are often picked up the following day). We provide standard cleaning (e.g. restrooms, floors) and reasonable trash removal.

CANCELLATION

A nonrefundable deposit of 50% of the space and staffing fee is due at booking to reserve your date. Balance payments are due two months prior and are 50% refundable up to one month before the event date. In case of inclement weather, we will work with you to reschedule around existing programming.
